Praia da Salema is not a simple beach, geologically speaking, since there you can find dinosaur footprints preserved in some rocky areas.
This beautiful beach provides contact with this amazing paleontological record, which is 125 million years old. You can find the footprints at the base of the stairs leading to the beach, at its western end, on a limestone slab. Here you will easily see a trail with several footprints of a large bipedal ornithopod herbivore.
Enjoy the sun, the sea and this unique experience!
